I’ve been doubting myself about my current relationship. Denying whether I’m really in love or just going with the flow. Bored, I log into an old site of mine, that’s simply there for drunken giggles and other reasons.
Then it happened.
The ex who was perfect in every way contacts you. I read the message, it’s simple, one word, my name spelled with a couple extra letters to make it sounds cute. I smile at the message and reply simple “Hey!”. The moment I click send my heart stops beating, I’m not able to swallow, to breathe, there is a fire in my heart and the only thing I can think about is. Did I just ruin my relationship. Could this message be the end of something beautiful that I never thought could happen to me.
My heart is literally thumping out of my chest.
